EVP - Strange oh so strange??

Hi everyone,

I couldn’t think of a more appropriate title and you will see that it fits in this case. I decided to do some EVP research at home and got some unusual results. I set my digital recording device to record whilst I slept and on examining the record the following morning I had some unaccountable voice. I have to admit that most of it isn’t as clear as I would have liked, but I do understand the better part of it that is readable. This experiment was carried out over four consecutive late nights. There maybe more in the record that I have missed. The results so far are close in my understanding as I describe what was captured and maybe I will allow the original records to be made available online at some point.

10th March 2009
1. There is a gasp whilst I am providing a verbal record for my own reference prior to sleep followed directly by a voice that say’s “Father”.
2. Later when I’m sound asleep the words “We can help you”.
3. Now the really strange thing happened a little further into the recording the voice say’s “Stefan father father” very faintly then there is a word I haven’t figured out as yet and this is followed by “father come” pause “Stefan help now”.
4. The word “Par” is spoken and this didn’t have the feel of it being as a modern day alternative to father.

11th March 2009
1. During the verbal recording for my own reference there is an unaccountable voice that say’s “come”.

12th March 2009
1. An unaccoutable voice say's "Let me Sleep".
2. I’m talking in the record as I sleep and I say “you Bastards” don’t know what that was all about, but when I stepped back the recording it appears to be in direct response to an unaccountable voice, which is a singular voice that say’s “we hate you” the "we "could be "I" instead and has the feel of being spoken in temper.
3. Then later we have an unaccountable voice that say’s “are you alright?”. I noticed me muttering something in my sleep as the voice spoke and I think I say "I want to know you?".
4. Then later we have an unaccountable voice that say’s “make up”.
5. Then later we have an unaccountable voice that again say’s “make up?”.

Note: It seems from the above if my experience is anything to go on that it is possible to interact, with an unaccountable vocalisation as we sleep.

13th March 2009
1. I haven’t got a clue what this next one is about it’s a pinging noise that hums and this happens a couple of times.
2. Then a few minutes later there is a voice unlike any of the other voices, which say’s “door” it has the feel as if it has become alerted to someone else awake in the house.

Anyway I decided to leave further recording for awhile, but thought it might be of interest in our forum, so I decided to post the details of my experience.

PS The unaccoutable voice that calls me by name has left me wondering and to be honest it has left me feeling a little freaked out! I also got an indirect message that came to me as I listened to the "we hate you", which formed as "life is just a dream wake up".

Hi everyone,

The house I live in has had no deaths associated with it during its occupation. However the deeds if I remember do mention an unmarked grave and that this was located during the buildings construction of the house. I have seen an apparition and so has my father walking from the patio through the conservatory and out through the wall. To clarify further I saw a pillar of mist that had human form awhile back. It came from the patio on one night as I stood in the kitchen and my Dad saw the same thing on another night, coming through the outside wall into the conservatory and then out onto the patio.

Is it true that "UK DYSLECTICS" RULE KO somewhere was mentioned?

PS Maybe I'll set up a recording device to explore for possible unaccountable voice in the conservatory or outside on the patio and to hell with idea that fishing for evidence is unprofessional in the eyes of a certain well known, but now misguided organisation.

Hi everyone,

I still have quite a lot of audio to go through but found this record at the start of a session dated the early morning of the 25th March 2009. I was late returning home from a friend’s house and was very tired and I tend to be a little grumpy when I’m tired. Anyway I started recording and don’t really remember much about what I babbled for the record before going to sleep. Much to my surprise there is a voice that is very clear but it isn’t me and I reply to this voice without any recollection of hearing this voice or replying to it at the time of the record. The voice say’s “Do you want anymore?” and I reply quite sarcastically by saying “Yeah how about letting me win the Fu*ki*g lottery then” my apologies for the bad language, but that’s what I said as a subconscious verbalisation to the voice that I don’t remember hearing or replying too. This audio clip is attached and is a quality “A” EVP candidate. I have so much unaccountable voice from my bedroom that it doesn't really feel that private anymore.

Hi everyone,

I was stupid enough to analysis some more of the audio acquired at home in my bedroom. I have decided to share a few of these captures as they seem to follow a theme. It is a theatrical theme. The first voice is me it say’s as I sleep “A pound or a Forfeit” as though acting out a Shakespearian play called the Merchant of Venice. There is another voice in this same section as a separate clip that say’s “A lover’s affair” in keeping with the same play. Interesting coincidence is that I played this audio to my friend Colin and his friend Brian when I visited Colin on Tuesday 24th March 2009. I didn’t get back home until 00:15am on the morning of the 25th, because I dropped Brian home in my car. I couldn’t sleep so decided to watch Deep Space Nine that had been recorded at home on that same evening of the 24th March that I’d missed. Now the Star Trek series are renowned for the inclusion of Shakespeare quotations in dialogue mainly as a result of Robert Steward, who played Jean Luke Picard in “Star Trek Next Generation” Anyway in this Deep Space Nine episode the words “Those words are from Shakespeare’s Merchant of Venice” is spoken in reply to a question in the dialogue. It could be thought of as a mere coincidence that my anomalous voice captures relate to the same play being mentioned in the programme. However it seems to reaffirm my understanding of the anomalous voice on this occasion relating specifically to this “Merchant of Venice” play. It was only after I further analysed this audio clip that I realised that it is I that speaks “A pound or a forfeit” but the voice that say’s “A lover’s affair” is 100% not me, so it seems there is an interaction going on between me and an unaccountable presence. The clip samples are below they are not brilliant, but they needed to shown as there is some class “A” quality EVP candidates that relate in a theatrical way further into this report.

The next one is quite amusing because the anomalous voice is using a Shakespearian play on words, but it is applied to what I subconsciously understand as being Oliver Twist. I know this because there is another anomalous character voice that is in keeping to the first anomalous voice statement and I reply addressing the character by the name of Dodger. The first voice is a class “A” EVP candidate. This is what the clip say’s “you are a sandwich to all” then a difficult to hear voice say’s “His a chubby git” then I say “Dodger” Disgusting and edited out by me, the breaking of wind followed by me, saying “Hydrogen”

This next clip is to show you some more interactions and this is another Class “A” EVP candidate. I am disturbed in my sleep and say “I’m trying to sleep” then there is another voice that isn’t me who say’s “Does it matter?” This actually is a good question why should it be a problem to me if I am interacting as I sleep? PS There is much more that I could tell you but it borders far beyond the extraordinary in explanation than I feel comfortable to share at the moment. Note to self never bring your work home with you, followed by they did this to me.

how would I handle this ? well for a start id tell them to bugger off and let me sleep, Gosh, you dont half fidget and talk to your self a lot when youre sleeping mate, youre worse than me.


A lot of these phrases seem very non sensical things to say I can definately hear something but i think that i would have to listen to it a few more times before i make any more comments.

WOW! As soon as I listened to your voice two things struck me. The first thing is that I felt that I have known you all my life. The second thing is that there was an electronic undertone to the recording. Was this intentional?

I didn't expect anyone to hear what I can hear on those lesser quality clips, but I needed to include these, as they appear to me to follow this Shakespearian theme. The good thing is hopefully you were able to hear the "Class A" clips supplied.
