These are my personal opinions on alleged Psychic abilities. Psychic ability is natural and not paranormal! It is the simple ability to sense, using additional senses that each and every one of us has! It is akin to our recognised and accepted five senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. To help better understand, here is a simple analogy:
Imagine each of our five recognised senses above as channels (TV channels), and that at birth being provided, with a TV set (i.e. the mind) that needs to be fine tuned into these information services. The common five senses are more or less pre-programmed, but we still need to familiarise ourselves and build associations, with the content, before it will make any sense. There are many additional channels, amongst these five, although they often require a search and some manual tuning. In fact even the quality of reception, from our normal five channels, can vary from individual to individual.
These are some thoughts on our perception of other life, from ET to the continuation of the human soul, after physical death:
The human eye is limited to a spectrum of light, so it is impossible for us to see anything visually that is beyond, our individual scope of vision. So to decide there is nothing there, when our other channel senses are telling us otherwise, is quite silly and normal! It’s a bit like me standing, in a room full of people, with my eyes closed, telling myself they are not there, despite the general noise of a crowd.
These are some thoughts on the human (the human animal) ability, to sense for survival of the species:
1. Touch to find a way around in the darkness
2. Taste to determine what is good for the body
3. Smell that might indicate danger or a distant kill
4. Sound that alerts us to others
5. Sight confirmation to confirm our other senses
The problem: Sight is our dominating sense (over all other senses) and it is often the deciding factor, between belief and disbelief.
Basically for survival we don’t need any paranormal warning system, because it serves no real survival purpose (the paranormal
doesn’t pose any great threat), in the real world. Therefore these additional channels/senses aren’t tuned in and there is very little of interest on them anyway, for real people, living in a physical world.Faith and Science:
Faith in one form or another is a predominant feature of our human existence! Faith is belief that requires no visual confirmation, but although the majority of humans rely on faith it is discounted by science, as generally worthless. This is quite understandable in any practical application of science in a real world environment, because science has proven to be very useful, in applications that have physical substance. So science has become our most dominant sense (over all other senses) and is now, the limiting factor of sight!
I use to be a religious person but that was due to my upbringing.
