This author also writes under the name of Robin Hobb, who I am a spectacular fan of. However, this book is very different from her usual style. It centres around a young Native American who is shunned for being 'mentally challenged' but who is in fact a very powerful shaman! His mother is the one who struggles to make him self-sufficent and tries to get him away form their horrid village shaman, but events happen and.................. well, I recommend this for a really good read!

Can't wait to get my hands on part two.............. it's already ordered! :)
Blessed be!
